Samantha Oliviera

Executive Assitant & Community Food Associate (She/Her)

Samantha Olivieri is a multifaceted creative with a passion for community, born and raised in New York City. She has a background in organizing in Washington Heights and The Bronx, with a mission to provide people accessibility to resources and experiences they deserve. From community dinners to back-to-school drives, she has worked collectively in the past with other organizers to be the change she seeks in the world.

Valuing community, mental health, and creative education, she is honored to be both a teacher and student in the organization, as her classes and peers share their knowledge. Culinary arts is creative with food, so she enjoys having fun with her classes as they learn new recipes! When Samantha isn’t working at The Black Feminist Project, she works as a fashion designer and pursues her creative projects. One of her recent accomplishments was starring in an independent queer Puerto Rican film called Seeya L8R which is currently hosting screenings internationally and being submitted to film festivals.
